Special Education Professional, Kia Moore is the owner of Shine Moore Consulting, LLC, where
she works with organizations to amplify their staff to teach and provide best practices for
individuals with various learning abilities. She also guides and assists individuals and families to
ensure that clients with disabilities are receiving the services needed and placed in the most
beneficial setting to meet their educational, employment, and daily living needs. Kia shares

With over twenty years of experience, as a Special Education Professional, which includes being
a Teacher, Exceptional Student Education Specialist, Program Specialist, and an Inclusion
Specialist, Kia has a wealth of knowledge for providing instruction and support for individuals
with various abilities, ages three to twenty-two. She has an appreciation for making meaningful
connections and a passion for helping others maximize their potential at their individual level.
Kia has a Bachelor of Science degree in Exceptional Student Education, a Master of Science
degree in School Counseling, and an Educational Specialist degree in Educational Leadership.
Kia’s honors include being recognized as one of Bethune-Cookman University’s 40 Under 40
Elite Alumni and Teacher of the Year at The Quest Center, Broward County Public Schools.
